Algester Sports Club is a progressive Community Club that operates highly rated lawn bowls greens and licensed operations including Gaming, Bar, Bistro and Function facilities open from 8:00am -12:30am Sunday - Thursday & 8:00am - 2:00am Friday - Saturday.

We are currently looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join our team. This position offers a genuine opportunity to be a part of a very enthusiastic and customer focused management team.

To be considered for this position you will have:

  • A passion for delivering and driving great customer service
  • Previous supervisory/management experience
  • Current RMLV Certification
  • Approved Manager License
  • RSA and RSG accreditations
  • Excellent personal presentation and grooming
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong time management and self-organisation and motivation skills
  • Excellent cash handling and reporting skills
  • An ability to resolve conflict with customers and staff
  • Available to work flexible hours across the week including nights and weekends
  • Relevant qualifications at a Certificate IV level or above would be an advantage

This role will see you handling the following responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the delivery of excellence of Customer Service to our members and guests
  • Management of the day to day operation of the club
  • Ensuring the smooth operations of the Club on a daily basis
  • Managing Frontline staff and general staff supervision in maintaining the Club's policies, procedures and standards
  • Ensure that all staff comply with the Club's House policy, Work, Health and Safety procedures and other Liquor and Gaming regulations
  • Assist in the management of Club functions and events
