Alpha Fresh is a rapidly growing wholesale food supplier delivering premium fruit & veg, meat, poultry, and seafood daily to the hospitality industry. Based in Hume, we're Canberra's leading fresh food wholesaler

We've recently expanded with a brand-new commercial kitchen, creating a dedicated space for producing pre-prepared vegetables, pre-cooked meats, and ready-made meals for our wholesale and retail customers.

We're now on the lookout for a reliable and motivated Kitchen Hand to join our team and support this exciting new area of the business.

Your role will include:

• Assisting with the peeling, cutting, and processing of fresh fruit and vegetables (both by hand and using machines)
• Operating commercial cooking and prep equipment
• Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment and work areas
• Helping maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment
• Supporting both our wholesale production and retail meal prep operations

What we're looking for:

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
• Previous kitchen or food prep experience is ideal but not essential – we'll provide full training

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

• Public holidays
• Rotating roster
• Shift work
• Weekend availability
• Weekends only

• Australia (Preferred)
