Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior ICT Warehouse Manager to lead and coordinate our ICT warehouse and logistics operations. This role is integral in ensuring the effective imaging and distribution of hardware to staff across all organizational locations. The successful candidate will uphold compliance with asset management policies and facilitate critical business functions, including logistics coordination for urgent requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day operations of the ICT warehouse while overseeing a team of two Imaging Support Officers.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities related to imaging support, ensuring efficient workflows.
  • Manage ICT equipment returns from remote staff, ensuring all processes are performed accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate closely with the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) team to monitor stock levels and arrange for timely replenishments.
  • Create and manage ServiceNow transfer orders between stockrooms, enhancing asset tracking accuracy.
  • Test and validate ServiceNow workflow enhancements, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Update consignment tracking information in ServiceNow to maintain accurate records.
  • Liaise with users to manage tasks, incidents, and resolution outcomes effectively within ServiceNow.
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow dashboards to provide transparent insights into operations.
  • Coordinate urgent shipping requests, particularly those related to ministerial priorities, working closely with the VIP team.
  • Manage COPE and TFS shipping accounts while providing periodic reporting to management.
  • Support Imaging Support Officers in their duties as required.

Technical Skills:

  • Proven experience managing ICT warehouse operations, including imaging, dispatch, and returns of hardware assets.
  • Strong proficiency in ServiceNow, including asset tracking workflows, transfer orders, dashboard creation, and incident resolution.
  • Familiarity with shipping portals and the ability to manage consignment tracking and reporting effectively.

Experience Level: Senior - APS6 equivalent

Security Clearance: Minimum Baseline

Working Arrangements: The successful candidate will be required to attend the Canberra office 5 days per week due to operational requirements.

Essential Criteria:

  • Asset & Stock Control (50%)
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate stock replenishments and maintain accurate inventory records in collaboration with HAM teams.
  • Experience in handling urgent dispatch requests and equipment returns, particularly for remote and ministerial offices.
  • Technical Expertise (30%)
  • Proven experience managing ICT warehouse operations, including imaging, dispatch, and returns of hardware assets.
  • Strong proficiency in ServiceNow, including asset tracking workflows, transfer orders, dashboard creation, and incident resolution.
  • Familiarity with shipping portals and the ability to manage consignment tracking and reporting.
  • Leadership & Coordination (20%)
  • Experience supervising technical support staff and coordinating logistics across multiple locations.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders including ICT Service Desk, Procurement, Projects, VIP teams, and Security.
