Job DescriptionNestled in the heart of the Snowy Mountains, Oaks Lake Crackenback Resort offers a unique lifestyle and career opportunity. We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our team, drive operational excellence, and deliver exceptional guest experiences at this iconic property.
About the role:
As General Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, financial performance, and presentation of the resort. You'll lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring profitability, customer service, and the highest standards across accommodation, food & beverage, and property presentation.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead overall resort operations to achieve financial, guest satisfaction, and operational goals.
- Drive a culture of exceptional guest service and team development.
- Oversee financial performance including P&L, budgets, and reporting.
- Ensure property standards, maintenance, and presentation are consistently met.
- Champion workplace health, safety, and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications- Proven experience in hotel/resort management, with expertise in food & beverage operations.
- Strong leadership and people development skills.
- Excellent financial acumen with experience in budgeting and P&L accountability.
- Customer-focused, with a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
- Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
