Southpac International Group is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our growing Marketing team based at Burleigh Heads. In this hands-on role, you will lead the design and production of high-quality visual materials that communicate our brand story and enhance our presence across digital and print channels.

This is a stable contract role for 2 days per week, with the opportunity to grow into a permanent part-time position. While we enjoy working with creative agencies, we respectfully ask agencies not to apply.

About the role

Working closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications, you will be responsible for designing and producing engaging marketing materials that align with Southpac's visual identity and support strategic initiatives across all business divisions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop creative concepts and visual assets for campaigns, social media, print collateral, presentations, and digital platforms.
  • Design marketing materials including brochures, course guides, email graphics, social media assets, pitch decks, and event materials.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all visual communications and business units.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling visual content.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Coordinate with printers and suppliers to produce high-quality materials.
  • Contribute creative input to campaigns, video projects, and website updates.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) and other design platforms.
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour, and visual hierarchy.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a creative approach to brand storytelling.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Photography, animation, or UX experience is desirable but not essential.
