Position Summary

McDonald's Alice Springs is seeking an experienced and proactive Retail Supervisor to lead day-to-day restaurant operations. The successful candidate will supervise staff, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain compliance with food safety and workplace standards. This is a hands-on leadership role within a fast-paced quick service environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

·       Supervise and coordinate kitchen and service crew during shifts.

·       Allocate tasks and monitor performance to maintain service standards.

·       Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS policies.

·       Manage stock levels, equipment checks, and shift documentation.

·       Handle customer feedback and service recovery professionally.

·       Oversee cash handling and assist with end-of-day balancing as required.

·       Support the training and development of new team members.

Skills and Qualifications

· years of supervisory experience in a fast-food or retail setting preferred.

·       Strong leadership and communication skills.

·       Sound understanding of WHS and food safety procedures.

·       Certificate III or IV in Hospitality or Retail desirable.

·       Proven ability to lead a team under pressure.

·       Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Career Pathway

Potential career progression to Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Manager, with access to nationally recognised leadership and management qualifications.
