The Role:
As an IT Sales Consultant at AUIT, you'll be our go-to person for the hardware, software and select services needs of our small business client base. You'll sell a diverse mix of hardware (like laptops, desktops, peripherals, anything a small business needs), software (like productivity tools and security solutions), and services (warranties, security awareness training and much more).
Your mission?
Connect with small business owners, understand their unique IT needs close deals that make their lives easier and ensure efficient delivery of products and services—all while driving AUIT's success in Canberra.
What You'll Do:
- Handle all Hardware, software and some service sale opportunities.
- Quote for Solutions: Deliver compelling quotes and proposals to showcase how our hardware, software, and services meet client needs.
- Build Trust: Develop lasting relationships with clients through regular follow-ups and a friendly, consultative approach.
- Team Up: Collaborate with our technical crew to ensure smooth delivery of sold solutions.
- Hit the Mark: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
What We're Looking For:
- High Energy: You're enthusiastic, proactive, and love the thrill of the sale.
- IT Sales Experience: At least 2 years in IT sales or a related field, ideally selling to small businesses.
- Tech Know-How: Familiarity with hardware, software, and managed services that small businesses rely on.
- People Skills: Stellar communication and interpersonal abilities, with a warm and approachable vibe.
- Drive: A self-starter mindset with resilience to tackle challenges and close deals.
