Job Description
Elastomers Australia are currently seeking a full time Commercial Analyst to join the team based in Campbellfield. Reporting directly to the Commercial Business Manager, this role is responsible for the process of collecting, analysing, and evaluating data to generate various reports relating to business improvement activities and providing recommendations to management.
Duties

Responsible for making recommendations and providing analytical support to Senior Management on; sales trends, pricing, capacity, , rostering, customer reporting and profitability, supplier and internal costs, etc.

Conduct analysis of reports and data to identify patterns and trends and use available tools to build predictive models

Develop and refine predictive models to address problems and inform stakeholders of information

Assist in pricing proposals to supply products, including price list management.

Support the general management in analysis of information and their financial impact on the direction of the business using Excel, PowerBI and other data management tools.

Manage the reporting and control of Stock processes by providing management exception reports. This includes investigating reasons to why stock is at risk and identifying ordering and planning processes to update to mitigate the at risk.

Collaborate with stakeholders to collate data about rostering and utilisation of staff within the service team.

Manage the performance of staff directly reporting to this position
Requirements
-
At least 3 – 5 years' experience in a similar role

Relevant tertiary qualification
-
Intermediate to advanced computer skills inc Excel, Access, PowerBI, and or other programming languages

Database management skills including interpreting complex data and cleaning of data

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Exceptional time management and organisational skills
-
Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbally and written, including the ability to engage and manage collaborative relationships at all levels of the organisation

High attention to detail and autonomy
