Role Description

This part-time role for a CIT Officer & ATM Field Technician is an on-site position located in Mawson Lakes, SA. The CIT Officer & ATM Field Technician will be responsible for ensuring the security and maintenance of ATMs, handling cash-in-transit tasks, conducting routine inspections, and performing minor repairs. Additional responsibilities include responding to security alarms and addressing any technical issues that arise with ATM machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to 
    ATM service calls
     and conduct 
    first-line troubleshooting
    .
  • Respond to a variety of Alarms including welfare/distress calls, intruder alarms, escorts / let outs.
  • Attend various premises, and locations to conduct security patrols and/or CIT services.
  • Perform basic maintenance, resets and functional testing as required (training provided).
  • Conduct 
    security checks
     and ensure ATMs are operational and secure.
  • Document service calls and report any faults or security concerns.
  • Travel between multiple locations to provide maintenance coverage.
  • Other armed escort & guarding positions and roles included.
  • Hybrid role with regular CIT responsibilities, patrols, & alarm responses when required.

Qualifications

  • H6 firearms licence preferred
  • Current Security Licence
  • Experience in cash-in-transit operations and handling
  • Technical knowledge of ATM maintenance and minor repairs
  • Security alarm response and asset protection skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Mawson Lakes, SA
  • Relevant certification or training in security or technical fields
  • Prior experience in similar roles is an advantage
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
