Medical Receptionist

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join Tusmore Avenue Surgery. The role is being offered as a casual employment and has a potential to build into a permanent part time role. Front desk of a busy medical practice.

We are seeking someone who has the ability to manage multiple tasks while always meeting the practice and patient's expectations. This position requires a professional who has a flexible can do approach and is committed to building their skills as well as growing and developing in their working environment in line with the business needs.

Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting and greeting patients
• Booking patient appointments for multiple GPs
• Creating and maintaining patient records
• Organising patient paperwork and ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date
• Arrangement of follow up appointments
• Mail, Billing, Filing, Scanning

The successful candidate requires:

• Experience in medical reception/administration
• Excellent time management & organisational skills
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work both independently with initiative, and as a team member
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude
• Advanced computer skills and be able to use an advanced medical patient booking system
• Focus on quality customer service & attention to detail
