About the role

As our Paralegal - Litigation - Hybrid, you will play a key role in supporting our busy litigation team at BH Lawyers Pty Ltd in Sydney, NSW. This is a part-time 32 hour per week position (flexibility with hours) with the opportunity to work in a flexible hybrid model, combining in-office and remote work. You will assist our experienced lawyers and other paralegals in litigation, from research and document preparation to client communication and trial support.

What you'll be doing

  • Litigation | Drafting documents such as pleadings, affidavits, and correspondence

  • Organising and maintaining predominantly electronic case files

  • Providing administrative support, document management, and billing

  • Liaising with clients and other parties involved in litigation matters to progress files

What we're looking for

  • Experience as a paralegal, preferably in a litigation or dispute resolution setting

  • A candidate studying part time law.

  • Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to quickly analyse and synthesise complex information

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure

  • Proficient in using legal research tools and Microsoft Office applications

  • A collaborative and client-focused commercial outcome approach, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
