About the role
Join the talented team at Health Hub Springfield as a Cardiac Sonographer. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients at our state-of-the-art medical facility in Springfield Lakes, QLD.
What you'll be doing
- Perform cardiac ultrasound examinations to assess cardiac function and diagnose cardiovascular conditions
- Capture high-quality images and measurements using specialised ultrasound equipment
- Interpret examination findings and provide preliminary reports to assist physicians in making accurate diagnoses
- Ensure all procedures are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to established protocols and guidelines
- Maintain detailed patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with the wider healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient-centred care
What we're looking for
- Tertiary qualification in Medical Imaging or Cardiac Sonography
- Current ASMIRT or ASAR registration as a Cardiac Sonographer
- Excellent technical skills and a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with patients and the healthcare team
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
