Purcher International, Geraldtonare seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter to join the team. We are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated person with an eye for detail, who is friendly, systematic and driven by achieving results to support our fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Analyse existing/potential customer parts needs
  • Provide accurate information and advice to customers and internal staff
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Assist with merchandising displays
  • Participate in stocktakes
  • Ensure the swift resolution of customer problems and complaints
  • Seasonal Saturdays & on-call roster

About you

  • Ability to work seasonal Saturdays and outside normal hours during peak seasons
  • A supportive team player with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technology
  • Proven ability to build professional relationships with clients and seek new parts sales opportunities
  • Proficient in parts merchandising, selling techniques and parts ordering software is desired but not required for trainee
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Ability to interpret a technical diagram is desired
  • While familiarity with agricultural machinery or a similar role is desirable, a fast learner with enthusiasm for teamwork and customer satisfaction will be looked upon favourably
