About the role

Rapid Tune is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic to join our team in Mornington, VIC. This role is a key position within our automotive services business, responsible for providing high-quality repair and maintenance services to our valued customers. This is a Full-Time position (Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm, and Saturday, 8:00am-1:00pm) with diverse responsibilities.

What you'll be doing

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle makes and models
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing of vehicles
  • Carry out complex repairs and overhauls to vehicle components and systems
  • Adhere to all health and safety standards and procedures
  • Maintain detailed records of work undertaken
  • Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients

What we're looking for

  • Minimum Australian Cert III in Light Automotive
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as an Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in the use of automotive diagnostic equipment and tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Capable to work autonomously and take initiative while being confident in decision making
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • A current Australian driver's licence
