Shop Manager – Pooltime Belmont

Full-time | 40 hours per week.

Pooltime is a family owned and operated business proudly supporting the community for over 30 years. Our trusted reputation is built on quality pool services, expert advice and great products all at affordable prices.

We're expanding our team and hiring a dedicated Shop Manager for our busy Belmont location. As the Belmont Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of our retail store, manage stock, and ensure our customers receive the friendly, knowledgeable service Pooltime is known for.

You'll be encouraged to use your initiative, to embrace opportunities for innovation and growth, helping the business continue to evolve and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day shop operations and store staff.
  • Provide expert advice on pool care, equipment, and maintenance.
  • Oversee stock control, orders, supplier relationships, and customer accounts.
  • Drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Assist with equipment repairs.
  • Support the pool service technician team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-organised store environment.
  • Identify and implement new ideas to improve efficiency and the customer experience.

Our ideal candidate must have:

Australian citizens and permanent residents only will be considered for this position.

  • Previous experience in pool service, equipment management, repairs and sales is essential.
  • Strong product knowledge of pool systems, pumps, filters, and chemicals
  • A motivated person who uses initiative to support and motivate team members to achieve shared goals
  • A proactive, innovative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and high quality customer service
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • A collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Reliable with availability to work Saturdays

Hours:

  • Full Time - 40 hours per week
