A brand new opportunity is available for you to join the Autopact  one of Melbourne's largest and well-established Automotive dealership groups with various locations across Melbourne We are now looking to recruit Pre-Delivery Technicians / Accessory Fitters / Trade Assistantshere at our Pre-Delivery Centre.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on the latest, brand-new state of the art vehicles arriving in Australia across several brands.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Fitting accessories to customer vehicles prior to delivery.
  • Assisting with daily operational tasks.
  • Vehicle detail check prior to delivery.
  • Assisting workshop staff and managers with regular duties.
  • Carry out pre-delivery vehicle inspections.
  • Learning the processes of fitting electrical/accessory components.
  • Performing repairs and maintenance work on vehicles.
  • Complete repair orders and vehicle services diligently.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Experience as an Accessory Fitter will be highly regarded but is not essential.
  • Light Vehicle Mechanic Qualification is desirable.
  • You will be an enthusiastic, hard worker.
  • The ability to work well in a team environment and autonomously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Current driver's license with good driving record.
  • The willingness and commitment to learn and ambition to succeed.
  • The ability to self-motivate.
  • A passion for the automotive industry.
  • High level of personal commitment and focus.
