About the role

Join the talented culinary team at Club Quirindi as a 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice Chef. In this full-time role, you will work alongside our experienced chefs to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our members and guests in Quirindi, NSW.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist with the preparation, cooking and presentation of a variety of high-quality dishes for our busy kitchen
  • Learn new cooking techniques and recipes from our skilled chefs
  • Ensure all food preparation and cooking is completed to the highest standards of quality and hygiene
  • Participate in menu planning and development
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
  • Provide excellent customer service to members and guests

What we're looking for

  • Completion of 1st or 2nd year of a recognised apprenticeship in Commercial Cookery
  • Passion for food and cooking with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Food safety and hygiene certification
