Accessibility Test Lead / Accessibility SME with Australian Citizenship

Responsibilities:

  • Define accessibility test strategy and align with WCAG 2.2 AA.
  • Conduct manual accessibility audits and oversee automated testing.
  • Document findings in ACR/VPAT-style reports.
  • Work with UX, engineering, and QA to ensure accessibility is embedded in SDLC.
  • Mentor team members and raise awareness of accessibility standards.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2, ATAG, Section 508 (if relevant).
  • Proficiency with tools (axe, WAVE, Accessibility Insights, Pa11y).
  • Hands-on with AT (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack).
  • Background in QA or front-end dev a plus.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication.
