Roles And Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive non-financial performance reports using advanced business intelligence software such as Power BI, ensuring accuracy and relevance for diverse stakeholders.
- Support the delivery of projects aimed at enhancing business intelligence tools and processes by recommending effective solutions that facilitate informed decision-making across the organisation.
- Extract, transform, and analyse complex datasets utilising Excel (including advanced functions, pivot tables, and formulas), with additional proficiency in SQL considered beneficial for deeper analysis.
- Conduct thorough data analysis within Microsoft Azure-based architecture, leveraging experience with Azure Synapse Analytics to optimise data workflows and reporting capabilities.
- Assist the Strategy & Performance team with ad hoc data tasks while proactively working towards automating these requests into streamlined solutions for greater efficiency.
- Contribute to the successful implementation of AI productivity tools and Large Language Models by exploring their application within business processes to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Coordinate management of data subscription assets and uphold rigorous data management protocols to ensure compliance, security, and accessibility of information assets.
- Prepare detailed documentation related to all processes performed, including technical documentation on report builds as well as user guides tailored for end users' needs.
- Regularly review methods and formats for presenting data insights and trends to ensure clarity, impact, and alignment with evolving stakeholder requirements.
- Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues across the organisation by understanding their unique data needs and developing bespoke reporting solutions that add tangible value.
The Ideal Candidate
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining high-level reports or supporting AI productivity initiatives using business intelligence platforms such as Power BI or Salesforce alongside relevant coding skills like Python.
- Proven ability to manage ambiguity and prioritise competing demands effectively within a client-facing environment where responsiveness is essential.
- Track record of building positive stakeholder relationships through collaborative teamwork and open communication focused on shared goals.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the capacity to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences alike.
- Resilience under pressure combined with adaptability when navigating shifting priorities or tight deadlines in a busy workplace setting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—particularly Excel—and familiarity with Azure-based architecture or Azure Synapse Analytics is highly regarded for this position.
- Experience coordinating data management protocols including asset subscriptions while upholding best practices around security, compliance, and accessibility.
- Ability to prepare comprehensive process documentation (both technical specifications and user guides) that supports knowledge sharing across teams.
