Tallangatta Meat Processors presents an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Storeperson to join our expanding team. Smiths TMP is a family run business in its third generation, our headoffice is located at the foothills of the Victorian Alps where the Murray and Kiewa rivers meet.

About the role

This is a full-time Storeperson role based in Shepparton, Victoria. As a Storeperson, you will play a key part in the efficient and effective operation of the warehouse and distribution centre of Smiths TMP', a leading manufacturing and logistics company. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of the business.

What you'll be doing

• Receive, unload, sort, store and distribute incoming goods and materials according to established procedures
• Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment to move and locate stock items
• Accurately pick, pack and dispatch customer orders
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
• Assist with stock takes and cycle counts
• Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, tidy and compliant with health and safety standards
• Support the wider warehouse and logistics team as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a warehousing or logistics role, ideally within the manufacturing industry
• Forklift licence and demonstrated experience operating warehouse equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numbers and inventory
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow procedures and work safely in a warehouse environment
• Flexibility to work shifts, including days, nights and weekends as required
