What We Offer

  • Competitive wages: Full-time: $40 – $43 per hour plus penalties

  • Access to regular and ongoing overtime

  • Incentives may be available for workers living outside the Burnie region

  • 17.5% Annual Leave Loading (permanent)

    • 4 x 9.5-hour days with overtime (1st hour at x1.5, then x2)

About You

  • Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent welder qualifications or currently working towards

  • Experience working to Welding Procedure Specifications

  • Proficient in MIG and TIG welding and plasma gouging

  • Experience with high hardness steels (desirable but not essential)

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively
