Do you love working outdoors?
We are an award-winning, forward-thinking Club with an 18-hole course and 3 practice holes. We are looking for 1 energetic and hard-working person to work alongside the Greenkeeper team. This would involve working Casual hours although over the next few months the opportunity for more hours.
The position at Club Taree is offering will allow you to perform as an active member of the Course Maintenance Team in the performance of necessary maintenance duties under the guidance of the Course Superintendent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lawn mowing, edging, and brush-cutting
- General garden and grounds maintenance
- Weed control and removal
- Operating landscaping and maintenance machinery (lawn mowers, blowers, brush-cutters, etc.)
- Daily cleaning and maintenance of tools and equipment
- Minor repairs and basic handyman duties
- Keeping course clean, safe and well-organised
- Supporting the team with general maintenance and laboring tasks as needed
Key selection Criteria:
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Previous farmhand, gardening, landscaping, or grounds maintenance experience
- Basic handyman or maintenance skills
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Valid driver's licence
