From small everyday moments to larger-scale changes unique to a business like ours, as a Retail Leader, you'll really see the difference your work makes every day. Whether you're in a store, distribution centre, manufacturing site, or on the road, you're an important part of an Aussie icon at the heart of the nation.
About the roleWith iconic brands such as Liquorland, First Choice and Vintage Cellars to our name, our Liquor team is well on its way to being Australia's favourite drinks retailer. We serve up everything from premium wines and craft beers, to spirits from local distilleries. We're also growing every day, so it's an exciting time to join us.
As the Team Leader at our Coles Liquor online fulfilment centre, you'll be working in a unique "dark store" environment - a fulfilment centre with a primary focus on processing and delivering online orders. (Note: This role does not involve face-to-face customer interaction).
Your focus will be to safely lead a team and ensure operational requirements are achieved. You'll take pride in training and coaching your team and contributing to the fulfilment journey. From the availability of products to the pick, pack and dispatch of customer orders. This is an excellent opportunity to take your retail and warehousing leadership experience to the next level.
About you and your skills- Proven experience as a Manager or Supervisor in a warehouse, logistics or fulfillment centre, online hub or retail hub is desirable
- Experience leading and coaching team members, you will be required to assist in developing team skills to model the Coles values and ways of working
- Ability to effectively collaborate and work with others with a strong focus on ensuring team safety and fostering a healthy culture
- Expertise in order management systems and Microsoft office applications is desirable
- A current accredited Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification
- You may be required to undergo a Police Check if successful in the recruitment process, a cost that you'll be responsible for upfront but will be reimbursed upon successful placement.
- More cash staying in your pocket: Eligible team members receive 5% discount all year round on your Supermarket and Liquor online and in-store purchases. We also offer additional periods of double discount (10%) at various times throughout the year. As well as hotdeals exclusive to team members that translate into additional savings.
- Reward through recognition: Give and receive recognition, linked to our Coles values, through our digital recognition platform 'mythanks'. You can accumulate points to redeem in the online shop for exciting gifts and electronic gift cards from an extensive range of retailers.
- Opportunities for learning and development: No matter where you start within our diverse business, you'll have experiences, exposure, and education to satisfy you. Discover and explore a variety of career development programs and job-specific training.
- Novated car leases: Looking for a new car? We provide access to novated leasing for eligible team members.
- Investment in your future: Become a part-owner of the Coles Group. Our annual team member share plan offer allows eligible team members to make regular pre-tax salary sacrifice deductions to purchase Coles Group shares.
- Paid parental leave: We understand how important your life outside work is and offer permanent team members paid parental leave to support you in balancing work and family.
We're continuing to build a gender equitable team, and a culture that is just as diverse, inclusive and welcoming as the communities we serve. We are committed to creating a workplace that is safe and respectful for our team. We encourage applications from people of all ages, cultures (including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples), abilities, sexual orientation and gender identities.
We're happy to adjust our recruitment process to support candidates with disability. For further information and additional contact details visit the 'Our Recruitment Process' section of our careers site or email
