About the role

Kiddie Academy is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our vibrant childcare centre in Kellyville, NSW. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their physical, social, emotional and cognitive development. This is a full-time position, offering a rewarding career in the dynamic and fulfilling field of early childhood education.

What you'll be doing

  • Implementing age-appropriate educational programs and activities that stimulate children's learning and development
  • Providing a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for children to explore, play and grow
  • Observing and documenting children's progress, and communicating regularly with parents and guardians
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic learning environment, and ensuring adherence to all health and safety guidelines
  • Collaborating with the wider childcare team to create and continually improve the centre's educational offerings
  • Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance your knowledge and skills

What we're looking for

  • A relevant diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • We are also looking for someone who is interested in taking up traineeship in Certificate 3 in early childhood education and care
  • Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to promoting children's holistic development
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification
