Brimbank is continuously growing, with many transformational infrastructure projects about to break ground. A key focus of the coming years will be working with the State and Federal Governments to establish Melbourne Airport Rail; to complete redevelopment of Sunshine and Albion Stations; and the realisation of the Sunshine Precinct Masterplan which will Sunshine transformed into a CBD, vastly increasing local jobs, housing, businesses, services and tourism to provide for the many tens of thousands of people living, working and travelling through the Brimbank.

We are currently seeking a Full Time Permanent staff member to join our team based at our offices in Sunshine.
The role
Reporting to the Change Specialist as part of the Enterprise Project Management Office, we are seeking an Change Management Officer who can bring their skills and experience to:
- Support the establishment of a Change Management function, framework and supporting tools
 - Build organisation capability in change management, integrating with project management and continuous improvement practices.
 - Support the Change Capability Uplift program for all staff and leaders
 - Manage a Community of Practise / Change Champions group to support and sustain a culture of change maturity
 - Implement Establish Change Impact Analysis and heat mapping data for organisational context.
 - Support protocols, reporting mechanisms to track and share change data based on project impacts and risk profiles.
 - Support organisational change management uplift by providing change advice, training and coaching to leaders to support successful change implementation.
 
To be considered you will have:
- Ability to work in accordance with our values and behaviours
 - Demonstrated experience in relevant fields with less formal qualifications or tertiary qualifications in a relevant field of expertise or management with relevant experience.
 - Qualifications in Prosci, PCI, Lean Change or similar change management certification.
 - Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to effectively engage stakeholders and communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
 - Highly developed written and oral communication skills including ability to coach, support, motivate and develop change capabilities in a range of stakeholders.
 - High level analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.
 - Excellent stakeholder management skills
 - Demonstrated change management experience in a complex environment.
 - Preferred - Experience in local government working in projects, PMO / EPMO, communications or organisational development teams.
