Junior Draftsperson

MSC Fabrication is looking to hire a Junior Draftsperson. As part of a team, you will be expected to assist in taking our product from a measure, sketch through to detailed fabrication drawings.

Key aspects of the role include

• Design and drafting – use of AutoCAD and Solidworks.
• Assist production with design information as required.
• Assist production in cut sheets for both laser and plasma machines including CNC benders.
• Creation of production and installation information related to design.
• Site measuring as required.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Strong communication skills
• Intermediate PC and keyboard skills.
• Energetic and enthusiastic team player with an ability to work autonomously on a variety of tasks.
• Attention to detail.

Drafting skills in AutoCAD and/or Solidworks are highly desirable, however, we are also willing to train the successful applicant if they are otherwise suited to the role.
