Position Summary:

Melton Christian College is seeking applications from supportive and motivated Secondary Education Aides to join our dedicated team in 2026, supporting at Brookfield Campus. If you have a heart for Christian education and a passion for supporting students, we'd love to hear from you.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We invite applications from individuals who will play an essential role in supporting secondary students to reach their academic potential. We seek applicants with a good working knowledge of Christian education and strong communication, numeracy, and literacy skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to individual students and small groups, using resources prepared by the classroom teacher
• Record interventions and student progress accurately.
• Uphold a strong duty of care, ensuring student safety, wellbeing, protection, and compliance standards.
• Carry out additional tasks as directed by your Supervisor.

The successful candidates we desire:

• Current employee Working with Children's Check (or willing to apply)
• Police Check (or willing to undergo)
• Qualification in a Cert III in Education Support or Cert IV School Based Education Support is highly desirable; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Patient, supportive, and encouraging but firm with children in a positive matter
• Deep commitment to the core values of Melton Christian College and Christian Education
• Demonstrated alignment with the vision, purposes, and expression of faith of the College
• Strong literacy and numeracy capabilities
• Genuine passion for supporting students in achieving their full potential
• Effective interpersonal skills suited to engaging with Secondary students
