We are recruiting NOW and interviews will be held on Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th June in preparation for start dates of 21 July or 28 July)

These roles are perfect for someone looking to kick start their career in Support work, whether it be your first job or a career change. Customer service experience is highly regarded.

Please Note: If you already hold a Certificate III in Aged or Disability, unfortunately you will not be eligible for these roles.

About the roles

  • Earn while you learn - gain your Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) and be paid for work and off the job training (classroom training one day per fortnight av.)

  • Part-time Traineeship (min. of 15 hours per week up to max of 37 hours - this is dependent on rostering and your availability)

  • Adult Training Award Rate (base) plus allowances - Annual Leave, Personal Leave and Superannuation applies

  • Apprenticeship Support Payment incentives paid in 6 month increments (up to 2 years)

  • Mentoring and support provided throughout duration of Traineeship

  • Duties include: Supporting residents to live the life they choose allowing them to exercise choice and independence; Contribute to the physical, emotional and lifestyle needs and wants of the residents, through assessment and observation; Assist the residents with personal care and hygiene needs, nutrition and hydration and general comfort and social needs.

Eligibility & Essential Criteria

To be considered for one an ACA traineeship you should:

  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or a permanent Australian resident (some eligible visa holders may also apply - please check before submitting)

  • Willing to undertake formal training in Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33021)

  • National Police Check or willingness to obtain

  • Willing to undertake a 4-day Pre employment Program in Individual Support (2 Units) in Adelaide in mid July prior to commencing on the job
