Requirements

About The Role

As the Senior Environment and Community Advisor, provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of environmental management and community engagement activities. You will play a key role in building strong relationships with the community through consultation, sponsorships and engagement programs.

  • · Oversee environmental monitoring, reporting and compliance, including rehabilitation and sustainability projects
  • · Lead revegetation surveys and deliver environmental initiatives that support long-term site management
  • · Represent the company at community events and forums, occasionally outside of standard hours
  • · Manage audits, regulatory reporting and departmental procedures to ensure compliance and accountability
  • · Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and awareness campaigns to promote and environmental initiatives
  • · Provide leadership to a team of Environmental professionals.

About You

  • · Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • · Demonstrated senior leadership experience in environmental management within the
  • Resources or Mining sector
  • · Strong knowledge of Victorian Environmental legislation and regulations
  • · Current driver's license
  • · Proven ability to coach and mentor other upcoming Environmental professionals.
