The Role

Located in Singleton NSW, SRG has an exciting opportunity for those looking to start a career in Non-Destructive Testing. We are offering the opportunity to join our Mining NSW business as a Trainee NDT Technician working in a large NDT, Metallurgy and Engineering team.

This position is on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to qualified technicians in the application of various NDT methods during inspections
  • Assisting with equipment maintenance & calibration

The Successful Applicant Will Have:

  • Education qualifications in a Trade, Mechanical or Engineering field
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • A CAN-DO attitude
  • A solid work ethic including punctuality, reliability, safety focus minded
  • Current driver's license
  • High risk work license - EWP > 11m (desirable)
  • Confined space (desirable)
  • Working at heights (desirable)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical check including a drug & alcohol screen
  • Australian working rights
