As an Early Career Development Fellow, Mechatronics Engineering you will:
- Develop effective learning materials and activities as part of a design team or with guidance from the Unit Chair and demonstrate awareness of ongoing innovation in curriculum design.
- Assist in applying industry, clinical and/or research practice into student learning experiences, success, engagement and resources.
- Deliver effective teaching practices within unit and suggest approaches to innovate teaching practices to improve student success and engagement.
- Maintain appropriate discipline knowledge and constructively review and refine own teaching practice to help maintain teaching quality standards.
- This position may require the incumbent to travel domestically and/or internationally to attend conferences, events and to represent the university.
To be successful, you'll have:
- PhD in Mechatronics Engineering or a relevant discipline and other relevant qualifications and experience.
- Expertise or experience in signals and systems, data communications and virtual or augmented reality are desirable.
- Excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching in UG and/or PG programs, including innovative curriculum design.
- Emerging research and scholarship through publications, and/or exhibitions as appropriate to the discipline.
