The Data + AI Practice was introduced to ASI in 2023 to address the growing demand for advanced data engineering/data science services, enhanced BI, Analytics and Enterprise Reporting services, and AI-based productivity solutions. The practice is growing rapidly and now requires an excellent candidate to support the .NET application development component of the team. This role is initially a fixed term contract for six months, with a potential to extend.

The role
We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer (.NET / React) that has experience in working on complex solutions and is familiar with DevOps practices to participate in sprint planning and feature design. The developer will work closely with team leaders to create and extend existing applications, ensure DevOps practices are followed and support other members of the team to help share their knowledge in .NET and related technologies.

Day To Day Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain .NET and REACT solutions built by ASI.
• Participate in Product Feature design in conjunction with architects, clients and analysts
• Ensure all code is tested with Unit Tests, Integration Tests.
• Ensure solution documentation is kept up to date.
• Work with architects to ensure IAC (Infrastructure as Code) pipelines are kept up to date.
• Participate in Sprint Planning & knowledge sharing sessions with team members.

You Join Us With

• Three years plus experience in building .NET applications.
• Demonstratable experience building ASP.NET applications and demonstrating the use of best practices.
• Demonstratable experience using OAuth in .NET and REACT
• Demonstratable experience using REACT as a front-end application framework.
• You've experienced the following design patterns; Mediator & CQRS, Repository pattern with Caching, Modular Monolith, Domain Driven Design.
• You are comfortable working with Microsoft Azure Web Apps, Service Bus, Cosmos DB and related services.
• You are used to .NET Unit and integration testing.
• Degree in computer science or relevant vendor specific credentials (e.g., Microsoft Certifications or Applied Skills).
