We are currently looking for suitably qualified trainers and assessors to deliver CHC Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing / Disability) at our Toowoomba location. - Ability to deliver in flexible models using online platforms face-to-face delivery 4 days a week.

Essential Requirements

  • TAE40116/TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)

  • Relevant qualifications in Individual Support/Community Care

  • Sound understanding of the Community Services Industry

  • Recent and relevant industry experience

  • Current Driver's Licence

    The ability to train and assess HLTAID011 - Provide first aid would be highly regarded

  • Someone who connects well with students of all ages and backgrounds

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • A team player who works well with admin and training staff

  • Able to work independently and manage time well (with minimal supervision)

  • Flexible and adaptable to change

  • Supportive and positive approach to learning

What You'll Be Doing

  • Teaching and assessing the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing & Disability) to a range of learners

  • Planning lessons and updating training materials as needed

  • Using different teaching methods to keep learners engaged

  • Marking and submitting assessments on time

  • Helping students find work placements

  • Keeping accurate records of student progress and achievements

  • Build and maintain community client/industry relationships

Salary

Compensation is competitive and will be based on your experience. Salary sacrifice is available
