The Role
We're seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Officer to join the Head Office in Landsdale, WA 6065. In this dynamic role, you'll play an integral part in supporting our people and operations across 5 branches.
Reporting to the Office Manager, this full-time position offers the opportunity to grow your HR career in a supportive environment where initiative and continuous improvement are encouraged.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, including advertising roles, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating inductions
- Providing guidance to managers on HR policies, workplace legislation, and best-practice procedures
- Assisting with the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Liaising with the HSEQ team and insurers regarding workers' compensation and injury management matters
- Supporting the coordination of employee separations and terminations
- Contributing to general office administration, including ad hoc tasks and providing coverage on the main switchboard when required
About You
- Qualification in Certificate IV in Human Resources or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
- Knowledgeable of Modern Awards, the NES and workplace legislation
- Displays initiative, resourcefulness and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
