We are looking for a Woodwind Tutor and a Brass Tutor (can do both together)to start in Term 4. This person (or people) will be working in a team of tutors who are sharing their love of music and passion for playing music within a group. Tutors are asked to be a part of the school community by sharing their expertise and helping to showcase their students' development.

In 2023 Groves began their Woodwind program. In 2025, the Brass program began. These two school funded projects are needing passionate teachers who desires to bring their expertise to continue building the program. This position has room for the tutor to offer lessons within the Instrumental Program as well.
About the Role
This tutor will report to the Director of Arts and will:
- Plan and deliver 1:1 and/or small group tutoring to students within the school day (about 1 day/week).
- Lead woodwind and brass ensemble, including sourcing and preparing music repertoire suitable for students ranging in technical and musical ability.
- Prepare students for school performances where required, such as the College Open Day, assemblies, chapels and music showcase events.
- Communicate progress or updates with parents
- A desire to build the program and share their enjoyment of woodwind and brass instruments with the school community.
