SENIOR GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER

Due to ongoing growth, we currently have an opportunity for a full-time Senior Geotechnical Engineer on our Consulting team.Candidates can be based anywhere in Australia, but must have Australian working rights.

Candidates should have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Appropriate degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Mining Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 6-8 years' Australian industry experience in underground and/or open pit mining
  • Experience working as part of a consulting team is desirable
  • Experience working on the development of Management Plans and critical risk management is highly desirable

  • Proficient in geotechnical software (including Deswik, Rocscience Suite, Leapfrog, Map3D, FLAC3D/IMAT desirable)

  • Proficient in geotechnical logging, structural data collection, management and QAQC

  • Exposure to geotechnical modelling and stability analysis
  • Able to liaise with multiple stakeholders to drive operational priorities
  • Demonstrated ability in identifying and solving complex problems
