Private Housekeeper – Albert Park, Melbourne

Casual / Part-Time | Approx. 3 days per week (4–6 hours per day) | Flexible hours

We are seeking an experienced high-level private housekeeper to support the smooth running of a well-maintained apartment in Albert Park. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys creating a calm, organised environment.


About the Role

You will be responsible for day-to-day household operations for a private residence occupied by two adults (three-bedroom, three-bathroom apartment with two garaged vehicles).

Tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • General housekeeping and cleaning to a high standard
  • Car cleaning and refuelling
  • Post office errands, including parcel drop-off and collection
  • Wardrobe and laundry management, including delivery and pick-up of dry cleaning
  • Basic food preparation (e.g., light meals or pre-cooking assistance)
  • Maintaining indoor plants and ensuring general household upkeep

About You

  • Prior experience in private household housekeeping or premium hotel/residence cleaning preferred
  • Highly organised, trustworthy, and discreet
  • Strong attention to detail and initiative
  • Comfortable managing tasks independently with minimal supervision
  • Current Australian working rights and references required
  • Driver's licence (for errands and refuelling)

Hours & Conditions

  • Approx. 3 days per week, 4–6 hours per day (flexible schedule can be arranged)
  • Casual employment basis
  • Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience (A$37-45)
