Position:

We are looking for a full-time Store person to join our team in Perth, W.A. The successful candidate would be responsible for procurement and inventory control, as indicated below;

Duties include:

  • End to End Procurement of all Inventory and Assets
  • Monitor and co-ordinate on time delivery
  • Negotiation of favourable trading terms with Suppliers (in terms of quality, price, terms, delivery, and service)
  • Responsibility for all inventory related sales orders and processing
  • Arrange collection and delivery of shipments from local, interstate, and international locations
  • Ensure all shipments comply with national and international transport guidelines and regulations
  • Responsibility for the accurate and efficient management of cycle counts, stock adjustments and annual stock take
  • Maintain complete purchasing records and related accounting information using an online platform.
  • Assist Departmental Managers in job planning ensuring timely availability of materials required to complete projects
  • Ensure all purchasing activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain the safety and security of the Store and all company inventory
  • Other tasks as required by management

Skills and Experience;

  • Previous experience in a supply chain environment in a Purchasing role
  • Holder of a diploma or a professional qualification in Purchasing (highly regarded but not mandatory)
  • Oil & Gas / Drilling industry knowledge (highly regarded but not mandatory)
  • Computer literacy
  • Current Class C Driver's License
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously, and in a small team setting
