Kiosk Staff – Narromine Aquatic Centre Position Overview:
Kiosk Staff play a key role in delivering a positive and welcoming experience for all patrons visiting the Narromine Aquatic Centre. This customer-facing role supports the day-to-day operation of the kiosk, including food and beverage service, cooking, cleaning, stock management, and general customer service duties. Kiosk Staff are also expected to work alongside Pool Lifeguards to ensure smooth functioning of the facility.
Duties include:
- Cook and prepare food items in accordance with health and safety standards
- Serve food, beverages, and other kiosk items in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kiosk area, including food preparation equipment
- Accurately handle cash and EFTPOS transactions
- Monitor and replenish stock levels as required
- Assist in opening and closing procedures for the kiosk
- Respond to patron inquiries and direct them to appropriate staff when necessary
- Support event preparation, including kiosk set-up for special programs or bookings
- Comply with all OHS, food handling, and operational policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Provide excellent customer service and represent THRIV3 positively
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks assigned by senior staff
Summary of role requirements:
- Availability to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Basic food handling knowledge or willingness to complete training
- Current Paid Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain before 25/9/25
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to work in a team and follow directions
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude

- Working with Children Check (WWCC) and Police Checks
- Facility Inductions and System Inductions
- Food Handling Certificate (training provided if not already held)
- Final Induction
All training is provided and paid for by THRIV3, however this is an unpaid requirement for employment.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $10.62 – $66.38 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 38 per week
