About the role

AgapeCare Australia is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Female Disability Support Worker to join our team in Mansfield Park, SA. This is a casual position, providing flexible work arrangements to support our clients with disabilities and help them live independently and engage with their community.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
  • Providing companionship and support to clients, engaging them in recreational and social activities
  • Maintaining accurate client records and documentation
  • Access Community Social And Rec Activities.

What we're looking for

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification
  • Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Children Check
  • Experience providing direct care and support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment skills
  • A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
  • First aid certification and a current police check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
