We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our PM Shift team in our fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and compliance of electrical systems and machinery across the site.

You will play a hands-on role in troubleshooting and repairing automation, PLCs, and electrical control systems, while also contributing to continuous improvement projects that make a real impact on efficiency and safety.

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, PLC-controlled machines, and process equipment.
• Provide rapid breakdown response to minimise downtime in a high-speed FMCG environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation and control system issues.
• Carry out Test & Tag compliance, ensuring all work meets QLD licensing and electrical safety standards.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Collaborate with production, mechanical, and engineering teams to drive process improvements.

• Current Electrical Licence (QLD) with approval for Test & Tag.
• Proven industrial electrical experience in food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and GMP standards.
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment and work effectively in a team.

Desirable (but not essential):

• Familiarity with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider PLC systems.
• Experience with SCADA/HMI systems.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety compliance.
• Continuous improvement exposure (Lean, TPM).
