About the Role

We are looking for a Vehicle Inspector / Quality Control person who is a Trade-qualified mechanic or has equivalent hands-on mechanical experience.

  • Ensuring all vehicles meet Kuipers high quality standards.
  • Inspect vehicles at key production stages: Major Assembly, Final Assembly, and Final Inspection.
  • You'll identify non-conformances and provide clear, actionable feedback to production teams.
  • Ensure every vehicle meets operational, safety, and compliance standards before delivery.
  • This is a hands-on, technical role suited to someone who enjoys being on the factory floor and takes pride in quality outcomes.
  • Work closely with Inventory, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to support continuous improvement and maintain compliance records.

About You

  • Trade-qualified mechanic or equivalent hands-on mechanical experience (automotive, heavy vehicle, marine, etc.)
  • High attention to detail and strong observational skills
  • Experience in vehicle inspections, QA, or final audit processes
  • Confident working independently and managing your own workload
  • Clear communicator with the ability to give feedback across teams
  • Strong understanding of compliance and quality standards in a manufacturing or assembly environment
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality vehicles
