Position Overview:

We are looking for an individual to come and join us full time at our Nagambie estate to coordinate the bottling of wine from estate grown fruit and to keep the warehouse in tip top running condition to meet the busy demands of our customers. Being able to be part of a team and communicating with suppliers and customers is a key part of this role, not to mention the activity that makes a warehouse tick such as coordinating inventory, driving a forklift, pallet control and keeping the warehouse in pristine condition.  If you have an enthusiastic problem-solving attitude and enjoy juggling logistics and tight timelines this role may suit you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising a small team on a daily basis
  • Receipting in dry goods
  • Forklift duties moving stock around warehouse, loading and unloading trucks
  • Setting up and managing different stations on the bottling line
  • Ability to read and understand Order forms and other internal orders as presented
  • Ability to accurately pick and pack from order forms and make sure the correct address labels are attached to cartons
  • Be able to lift and move 16 Kg cartons from the carton conveyor and pack onto pallets
  • Lifting and moving cartons from pallets to racking
  • To clean and tidy the bottling line machines and area, and to keep areas tidy whilst working.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in supervising a team
  • A positive attitude is a must
  • Good attention to detail
  • Fit & energetic
  • Open to learning
  • Forklift license essential
