My Way Travel & Events is a dynamic travel and event business that curates unforgettable experiences for individuals and groups.  From bespoke holiday packages to major ticketed events, we pride ourselves on delivering seamless service and unique value to our customers across the Helloworld network and beyond.

About the Role

This role is pivotal in sourcing, building, managing and delivering travel and event packages. This includes maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, promoters and venues, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring packages are optimized for sales and customer experience. The role also involves attending hosted events and functions, supporting marketing efforts, contributing to revenue generation through strategic package enhancements and managing the communication and delivery of sales and event reports and related data.

Key Responsibilities:

Package Development & Supplier Coordination

  • Source events and travel opportunities to build compelling packages.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, promoters and venues/stadiums to ensure timely delivery, updates and reporting.
  • Coordinate with internal operations to secure room allocations and event/package logistics.
  • Explore and implement package add-ons (e.g. transfers, upgrades, complimentary experiences) to enhance value and drive revenue.

Sales & Marketing Collaboration

  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure packages are effectively promoted and visible across channels.
  • Keep suppliers, promoters and venues/stadiums informed of sales levels and performance.
  • Attend events and functions requiring hosting and representation of My Way Travel.

Fulfillment & Revenue Management

  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth through package refinement and upselling.
  • Demonstrate a keen awareness of pricing strategies and inclusions for each product, including potentially distressed inventory.
  • Support the development of strategies to improve package profitability.
  • Ensure seamless fulfillment of the event experience for the customer.

Communication & Relationship Management

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with suppliers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Represent the business professionally at all hosted events and supplier meetings.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to grow and foster our individual and corporate customer databases.
  • Work closely with event owner/promoter key staff to ensure strong and trusted relationships, access to all events, and adherence to agreed timelines and commitments for content delivery.
  • Work closely with travel agent brand and area leads to optimise communication with and buy in from the agent networks.

Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of package performance, supplier communications, and event logistics.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely updates on room allocations, package availability, and supplier deliverables.
  • Prepare and distribute regular sales and revenue reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist with budgeting, invoicing, and reconciliation related to package components and supplier agreements.
  • Support documentation and process improvements to streamline package creation and supplier coordination.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in travel, events, or hospitality coordination preferred.
  • Keen interest in and awareness of sporting and entertainment events, as well as hospitality and ancillary experiences.
  • Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Professional presentation and communication skills.
