About the role

Designer Stone Benchtops is seeking an experienced stone mason manufacturer/installer to join our team based in Beenleigh, Queensland. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for the manufacture and installation of high-quality stone benchtops and other stone products for our residential and commercial clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Fabricating and installing stone benchtops, vanities, and other stone surfaces to client specifications
  • Templating, measuring and assessing job sites to ensure accurate fitment of stone products
  • Operating machinery and tools required for stone cutting, shaping, and polishing
  • Communicating with clients to understand their requirements and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Ensuring all work meets relevant building codes and safety standards
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
  • Collaborating with the wider team to meet production targets and deadlines

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a stone mason, preferably in the manufacture and installation of stone benchtops
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes and safety regulations
