About the team:
The City Inspectorate branch is responsible for enforcement of the City's standards and local laws, across building, community, public safety and environmental health compliance to protect safety and amenity for the City's residents and visitors.
The Community Compliance business unit is responsible for:

Patrolling and enforcing parking laws in paid parking and timed parking areas, off-street regulated parking areas, designated disabled parking bays, and respond to and investigate complaints and breaches of parking regulations.

Reviewing and managing unpaid parking fines and related disputes.

Delivering animal management initiatives to residents including patrols and enforcement, impounding and off leash facilities, pet education, and complaints management, to ensure animals are appropriately cared for and managed in compliance with legislation.
About your new role:
The Compliance Ranger is a multi-skilled role capable of performing a wide range of compliance activities across the spectrum of specialisations within City Inspectorate.
You will serve as frontline personnel conducting scheduled and proactive patrols within designated CBD Precincts of the City, ensuring compliance with regulations, delivering educational support to the community, and promoting safety across multiple disciplines.
Responsibilities will include recording and maintaining precise records, evidence of interactions, enforcement activities and outcomes.
There are multiple roles available, and the successful candidates will be required to alternate between morning and afternoon shifts and will include working a weekend roster.
