The Opportunity

An exciting leadership opportunity has arisen for a new Director Corporate Services to join the Town of Claremont's Executive Team. The Director Corporate Services provides quality corporate services through effective leadership and management of human and fiscal resources. The position is responsible for pursuing excellence through continuous improvement and ensuring the highest levels of integrity, corporate governance and accountability.

Work Type:

Fixed term contract of 3 years.

Salary Package:

$210,145

(comprising of annual salary, superannuation, 15%, vehicle allowance, fuel allowance, 4 weeks annual leave, laptop and mobile phone).

Essential Selection Criteria

·      Tertiary qualifications relevant to the position, with extensive demonstrated experience.

·      Excellent leadership and people management skills demonstrated by experience and qualifications.

·      Highly developed communication and computer literacy skills.

·      Highly developed research, analytical and time management skills.

·      Skills and experience in budget preparation and risk management.

·      Demonstrated ability to work independently and make high level decisions autonomously.
