Where you'll be working
Macquarie Hospital is a declared, low-secure, 195 bed mental health facility with 14 beds for adult acute admissions and 181 beds in long term and short term rehabilitation services for consumers with schizophrenia, dual diagnosis and other enduring psychotic illnesses. It is located in North Ryde, 22km from the CBD of Sydney on approximately 42 hectares of parkland.

What You'll Be Doing
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for the assessment, and occupational therapy intervention for consumers within the inpatient adult mental health services and rehabilitation program areas based at Macquarie Hospital

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy and full registration with AHPRA.
• Experience in mental health assessment, care coordination and treatment/interventions, including group work.
• Demonstrated knowledge of relevant Occupational Therapy models of practice for mental health interventions.
