Barista

Our client, FORBES COUNTRY BAKEHOUSE PTY LIMITED, is looking for an experienced Barista to join their Front of House Crew.

The position requires a minimum of two years' experience. All-rounder skills are not a necessity but would be an added bonus.

Monday - Friday 7am - 3:15 pm

Alternate Saturday 5:45 am - 1 pm

Annual Salary: $76,515 to $80,000

Tasks

• Monitor the cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises throughout your day.
• Compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
• Check the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients.
• Brew, dose and prepare espresso coffees to highest quality, following inhouse recipes quality & consistency expectations.
• Preparing other beverages including tea, hot chocolate.
• Prepare and serve our menu of cold beverages as per recipe cards, ensuring quality and consistency expectations are met with every beverage.
• Coordinate the daily workflow of the Beverage Station following inhouse routine, systems & processes..
• Operate machines which dose, tamp & brew espresso coffee.
• Run morning season routine & open of business.
• Checking customer orders and delivery details.
• Ensure highest possible beverage quality according to the health and safety regulations.
• Following & completing Open & closing of business.
• Welcoming customers, taking their orders and handling payments.
• Restock & ordering of Beverage Bar items.
