About the Role

Fresh Futures Hair & Beauty Lounge is seeking a qualified and experienced Hairdresser to join our professional salon team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about hairdressing, customer care, and maintaining high safety standards in compliance with Northern Territory Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality hair services, including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments.
• Provide excellent client consultation to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workspace in line with NT safety and hygiene requirements.
• Follow workplace policies, including infection control and equipment sterilization standards.
• Support and mentor trainees and apprentices as part of our community training programs.
• Perform reception and administrative duties when required.

Essential Requirements

• Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2–3 years' proven salon experience.
• Strong knowledge of professional hairdressing techniques and current trends.
• Demonstrated understanding of NT Work Health and Safety requirements.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and uphold salon professionalism at all times.
• Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
